Predictive delay notifications — how it works
1 · Learn durations
Each appointment type has a modelled duration from history — per clinician. This differs from the booked slot length.
2 · Project the day
We roll each clinician's day forward from now using those durations, so every upcoming patient gets a realistic time they'll be seen.
3 · Notify who's affected
If a patient's projected wait is more than 10 min, we text them 45 min before their original time with a revised arrival — they plan their own travel.
